Penn Color was founded in 1964 by Edgar Putman as one of the original manufacturers of solid color concentrates for PVC films & compounds. Through nearly a dozen acquisitions over the years Penn Color now produces color concentrates for all thermoplastic polymers, including olefins, styrenics, PET, PVC, and a wide variety of engineering polymers.
Also a major supplier of color concentrates (or pigment dispersions) for printing inks, automotive & industrial coatings, wallcovering & flooring, and cosmetics, Penn Color is easily the most diverse, and one of the largest color concentrate producers in North America.
